Little Bronze-Cuckoo (Chalcites minutillus)

The boardwalk at Yellow Waters billabong in Kakadu gives good views into the lagoonside vegetation and open fields. One species we did not expect to see this well, if at all, was this Little Bronze-Cuckoo. This is the nominate subspecies of at least 11, several of which may be elevated to full species after research.
