Little Cormorant in golden light

Little Cormorant in golden light (Phalacrocorax niger)

This was shot in Kumarakom bird sanctuary in Kerala, India. An ordinary bird looked good in the flattering early morning light.
Kumarakom, Kerala, India
Date taken
27 Dec, 2007
Scientific name
Phalacrocorax niger
Equipment used
Canon 40D, Canon 500mm f/4 L IS, Canon 1.4x TC
Really nice shot, in good light too, an ordinary bird looking good.
Thanks everyone for your kind words. The background is the hyacinth covered lake and sky out of focus. And the light was great in the morning.
