We visited the Point of Ayr, Wales today (12 April) and we were watching Common Scoter, when this Little Egret flew in front of the hide and landed quite close. The photograph in the middle was just taken by luck. Whilst I was getting ready to take a picture, it suddenly decided to take off. This picture is of the first upward wing beat.
