Little friend

The roaming tits I visit regularily have their habitat in a forest 15 km from where I live. I have forests as close as one km, but this forest is larger and less visited by humans. After 2 years I have become one of their friends, even though they still dont like to be photographed. Eventually they let me get very close - within an arms reach.

Perhaps it was stupid of me to try and feed them from my hand. Only the willows thought it was a good idea, and only one of the willows actually likes it. This fellow lost all inhibations after having had "body contact" with the me. When I enter their forest, he greets me by perching on my jacket. When I lay on the ground he can land on my head o:) or the camera - he is very sociable - and the only one that is not camera shy!

Your friend has a wonderful living room,Hans. The electricity bill will be enormous though. Wonderful lighting and a great setting. Great work.

Another very well lit, beautiful image Hans, you are so lucky to share friendship with these little creatures, it pays huge dividends.
