Little Glasswing Skipper
Little Glasswing Skipper (Pompeius verna: Hesperiidae) Wingspan 2.5-3.2 cm (1.0-1.25 in). Nectaring Cowpen Daisy (Verbena encelioides: Asteraceae).
Habitat
Edwards Plateau, Sewage ponds adjacent to the Colorado River next to the river is a riparian hackberry/elm woods and elsewhere the ponds are surrounded by open fields at 134 m (440 ft) elevation.

Hornsby Bend Bird Observatory, Austin, Travis County, Texas, USA.
