Awesome little birds! All little grebes I have seen this year have only had one chick, is this normal? Great family shot mate tfs

Great family capture, Brian. Anything duckling-size is taken by the Gulls, so I'd guess that they had more than the one to start with. I often see 12 Mallard Ducklings, next time I see only a couple... or none
