Little Grebe taking a dive

I sat watching this little fellow for 2 hours and managed to catch him at the moment he dived. I quite like the photo stood on end, it looks like a strange plant in a vase.

You've either got very good reactions or extreme patience as the Little Grebe gives no warning of its dive and I've always missed it. Great capture and thanks for sharing.
 
Frank, I sadly sat for hours before I realised it sort of tucks its bum just before it dives. I assume it is the action of bringing its legs forward to get the propulsion to dive.
