Little Grebe

Far away on the other side of the lake I saw what looked like a little black blob. Every time I tried to take a photo it disappeared under the water. When I got home I was chuffed to see I had managed to get a photo of it (not a very good one I admit) but it is a first for me and I think it may have caught a fish.

Lovely eye-level view of this Little Grebe enjoying its catch. Congratulations on this newbie! Well done Carann!!!

Congratulations Carole! He is enjoying that fish lunch too.

Yeah, they always tend to dive just as you try to get a shot, a tough act to capture them on camera. Nonetheless, you managed to capture the action, Carole!! tfs. And congrats too.

Lovely one Carann, it's not easy to get near them, watched a pair a few weeks back diving down and catching sticklebacks, then they got mobbed by black headed gulls for the fish,
Thanks for shaing.!!!!
