Little Grebe
... or Dabchick!

Not the greatest of pictures, as the light was pretty poor that day, but it was some years since I'd seen one of these at the reserve.

I'm sure they'd been around all that time, but probably on the far side. They used to be regular in front of the Gullery hide.

Hopefully we'll get to see them more regularly again.

Our Isar river banks are place to nudists and waders. LOL. Easy for me to separate.
 
i have quite a few on my pond but they always dive before i get a capture.nice one delia.tfs.take care all the best margaret.

At least this one showed up, that is a good sign. Maybe they will start coming closer, even on clear days (lol). Well done my friend!!!!
