Little Grebe
.... or Dabchick as a lot of us like to call them!

This Little Grebe was swimming along the ditch, but the blooking grass kept getting in the way, spoiling the pictures. Around this time we managed to clamber up the bank and I got this image without the grass... well one stalk seems to be giving a bit of a natural frame, so I'll let it off.

Lovely shot of this Dabchick Delia, many tfs and when I was a kid that is what we called them.
 
An excellent capture of this little grebe Delia, lucky it never dived under, as the rest do...lol.
