Little Oak Owl

Yesterday, after failing to get a decent shot of a gropper, I went to the pub for some liquid inspiration, and following that, decided to look in on the local little owl.

What a treat, as it flew from the usual tree into one in the sun, and allowed me to take a few wonderful shots, as it stared curiously down at me.

I'll raise a glass to that!

3 very good posts today. This Little Owl surrounded by sunlit foliage is superb bt I really like the whitethroat too.

Well done a great capture ,i will have a pint of what you are drinking.

I will have juice please :'D Stunning little grumpy owl capture Pete, although he seems almost smiling at you and not grumpy at all. You didn't give him a sip from your glass I hope ;) :D

Great neat capture, and your inspiration method is actually inspiring me as well ... ;)

Thanks all - I was chuffed to bits with it, actually. We have HPA to thank for the inspiration :t:
