I've struggled to see these guys on my trips down south (we don't get them in Scotland). Finally managed to see one just before it got fully dark a few years ago ..... and made a mess of the camera settings!!!! Not pleased LOL

You've a great picture of this guy Birdbrain.... very well done.

And this was the second one we had. The first was spotted at the top of a Pine about 50 yds from the rd and 5 miles prior to this one... when I got a look in my bins, another car passed us which caused it to fly and I could not get the camera on it in flight quick enough.
