Beautiful shots of the plovers. And thanks for your comment on the Srike. It IS soft, Neil. There are several reasons: It was a rainy day, the bird was at a considerable distance, the Camera ISO was pushed to 1600 by Auto ISO, and most important of all I cannot mange shooting objects on the ground very well, most of them are somewhat out of focus. That's one thing I have to learn. I also got some shots of this plover in Wetland with my 50D and 300 f4 +1.4, but they are far softer than your digiscopic image!
