Little Tinamou (juvenile)
Little, Little Tinamou (Crypturellus soui subsp. modestus) This youngster was closely following one of its parents and every time its parent picked something up to eat the youngster picked something up, though often it was not food (lol). Sexes similar. Bosque del Ro Tigre Lodge, Osa Peninsula, Puntarenas Province, Costa Rica. About 1 km east of the town Dos Brazos de Ro Tigre. Pacific secondary rain forest at ca. 130 m (427 ft) elevation.
