Little Wombat

Found this wombat on the side of the road one day. Must be an orphan, so I checked him for ticks, watched him feed for a while and sent him on his way back into the bush.

Lovely shot and story, don't recall ever seeing a photo of a baby wombat.

Thanks for the comments guys.. I might add to the story by telling you of the ackward nature of taking that shot. He seemed fascinated by my camera, so anywhere I got low for a shot he came after me barrelling along as fast as he could, meaning all my shots ended up at some funny angles.
