Loggerhead Shrike
Loggerhead Shrike (Lanius ludovicianus). The shrike impaled the grasshopper seconds before I took this picture.
Habitat
Bottomland with hardwood woodlands interspersed with cropland at ca. 75 m (246 ft) elevation.
Location
Mumford Benchley Road ca. half way between Mumford and Benchley, southwest Robertson County, Texas, USA.
