Long-billed Plover
My birding partner Tom and I were out a few days ago and noticed what we first thought were Little-ringed Plovers that looked somehow different,a bit longer, slimmer, sure enough, after posting my pics on the Bird ID page (http://www.birdforum.net/showthread.php?t=153403) several of our learned members have confirmed my suspicions. My first Long-billed Plovers!
