Long-eared owl (Asia otus)

An awesome, head on image of this Owl in flight!

Wow, very impressive Gleb. Night time photography of birds is difficult, I cant image capturing one in flight at night. TFS!

Thank you! This was not easy to do, especially since they kept on gliding silently around the place or sitting in trees. I got lucky when one decided to head at me, and its shriek gave it away. This owl is VERY difficult to observe, and on the day before, despite trying for half an hour, I failed to photograph it. However, if you hear an owl shriek nearby, and see a shadow glide by, you might get a fantastic image. Thank you!
