Long-tailed Tit

Long-tailed Tit (Aegithalos caudatus)

It's still quiet for birds here, and the light's too bad to practice with my new converter. So this is a shot from 2014, a month after getting my first DSLR (used to do budget SLR photography until about 15 years ago). The colours look lurid, but the unfocused brickwork in the background really is pretty much that colour.

Thanks again to everyone who's said kind things about my pictures.

The colours on that wall really tone rather nicely with him John.

A super picture you've taken of this wee one... surely up there as one of our cutest birds eh?

Nice one lad.

I like the tones and hues in this John, and a great pose.
