Good shot,Denny.Do prefer this shot to the Greenfinch shot.This shot is much sharper,and the colour is good.with the Greenfinch shot,the colours seem a tad over saturated.Did you do any editing with the colours?..Do like this shot.Very good.

It's funny you picked up on the sharpness of the greenfinch shot, as I am a little disappointed with it. I have just bought a new Canon 70 - 300 IS zoom and some shots are not as sharp as they should be. I have a suspicion it is to do with the image stabiliser being used on a tripod. I'm sure I read somewhere you should switch it off when using a tripod. I will have to experiment.
There is a very small amount of saturation on both shots.
