I can't [i]tell[/i] you how pleased I am with this!

This little star was perched on the edge of the cliff face at Marsden Quarry Nature Reserve near my home town of South Shields. He seemed pretty relaxed about my presence until I got [i]too[/i] close - by which time I'd crawled several yards through freshly-cut bramble trimmings!

Even now, days later, I'm picking thorns out of my knees and elbows - [i]but it was worth it..![/i]
