Lord of all he surveys

I can't tell you how pleased I am with this!

This little star was perched on the edge of the cliff face at Marsden Quarry Nature Reserve near my home town of South Shields. He seemed pretty relaxed about my presence until I got too close - by which time I'd crawled several yards through freshly-cut bramble trimmings!

Even now, days later, I'm picking thorns out of my knees and elbows - but it was worth it..!

There is no art without pain, Keith. ;) Or maybe there is. But you did a wonderful job here and Im happy that you got this first class image of this gorgeous beauty!
Thanks all.

This resized-for-BF version loses a lot of the impact really - the version now serving as the wallpaper on my desktop is (to my eyes, anyway) wondrous.
:eek!: WOW, Keith, he is BEAUTIFUL!!! :bounce: The image is full of impact for my amateur eyes, even reduced!!! A very loud  on you and your skills and several :t:!!!
Lol Keith. Sounds painful, worth every bit of hardship though. A wonderful composition and a great setting. "Bramble sharp"! ;); :t:
