Love Willow

Love Willow (Parus Montanus)

This Willow has feelings for me, I think. Occasionally it seeks close company without any other obvious reason than a desire for contact. It is amazing how soft the grip of it's feet is, when it lands on my fingers.

:eek!: This is utterly marvelous, Hans, not only for the beauty of the image but for the sentiment oozing from your words, I can feel the sweet Tit chirping for your company!!! Bewitching!!! :t: :t: :loveme:

Thanks Marian! The willows feels like the "original tit" from which the others have evolved. The siberian tit is almost identical to the willow. And the willow seems most adapted for a life in the forest. They can move both like a snow flake and a bullit (if chased by a sparrow hawk). Amazing birds - and the toughest of the tits as well!

Sure, you love the willow tit,Hans! Marvellous sensitive portrait...I love the pose of the bird, the discreet lighting and again the backdrop :t::t::t::t:

Two super Tit shots in your lovely forest Hans, I love them both, but not as much as you love this tiny Willow. Hazel and I had a Robin eat from both of our hands a couple of weeks ago, and the gentleness of the little bird was simply amazing, an experience of a lifetime.

Looks like you also have some tender feelings for that Willow, Hans. I have always thought that they feel that nuts in the pocket must be better than those I have left them to eat. They are birds that have a certain place in every persons heart who has a closer contact to them.

You have made great justice to this beauty. Love it.

So now you have them eating out of your hands Hans! Exceptional shot of this sweet bird. Thanks for sharing!
