Bold Jumping Spider (Phidippus addax: Salticidae) 1.0-2.0 cm (0.4-0.8 in) long. It has caught a small Noctuid moth and is looking for a dinner companion; any takers (lol)?. Open manicured area with Post Oaks (Quercus stellata) at ca. 101 m (330 ft) elevation. Bryan, Brazos County, Texas, USA.

wow! to find that in an open area, and have the presence of mind to take a shot. great work! the skill of wildlife photography is not just in the technical abilities but having the nerve and/or patience to capture the subject. I guess the spider was too busy eating than to worry about you poking your camera at him!
