Hi, thanks for your nice comments. This was my first visit to Astbury Mere although I live not too far from there. Always the case you don't realise what you have on your doorstep. Although the sun was out it was quite windy. It was hard to get photos because the sun was glaring right at me as I stood on the shoreline and it was quite a long walk to get around to the far side.
