Lysippus Metalmark also known as the Scintillant Metalmark (Riodina lysippus: Riodinidae). This attractive neotropical metalmark has an estimated wingspan of 3.0-3.5 cm (1.2-1.4 in). This species was fairly common along the banks of Ro Cuiab, south of Porto Jofre, Pantanal, Mato Grosso, Brazil. Riverine with some cerrado vegetation species. Elevation ca. 128 m (420 ft).
