Magadi Bird Sanctuary-5 : Bar-headed Goose (Anser indicus)

It was nice to read an informative article in the local lingo newspaper about these migratory birds urging the locals to look after them during their stay and not to hunt them. Their number is estimated to be around 5500.

They are an amazing species, aren't they - great news that the local newspaper is backing them!!
