Magpie goose for lunch (Anseranas semipalmata)

This was shot at Wildlife Habitat in Port Douglas which did have some captive birds but there was also a healthy mix of wild fly in of which this cheeky fellow was one.

The look on partner's face was precious. too :D

They are certainly strange and ancient creatures ...a goose in trees!!!
