It's just my natural expression. People tend to think I'm far more serious than I am when the first meet me. It's just the way it is. This photo was taken the first time I was ever in Portland, Maine. It was a rainy, foggy, afternoon and I was doing my best to look out over the bay.
I guess "a rainy, foggy afternoon" is worth a serious expression... but if this comforts you, my expression when I face my unruly students makes yours look utterly festive! :'D
