Major Mitchell's Cockatoo taking its first drink (Cacatua leadbeateri)

Thank you all for your complimentary comments yesterday,when we posted this bird with its crest up,just before taking its first drink.Here is a shot after taking a drink and letting the water run down its throat.These birds are not capable of sucking up water continuously like pigeons,but take a beak full and then throw back their head to let the water run down their gullet,like most other birds!
