Major Mitchells Cockatoo (Lophochroa leadbeateri mollis)

Returning from a bird trip in the Dundas Nature Reserve South of Balladonia in Western Australia I came across these lovely Cockatoos at Karalee Rocks near Yellowdine.
One of my favourite birds.

That's a super picture you've taken of this handsome cockatoo Mike.

We don't seem to see them coming in too often sadly. Many thanks for showing him to us.

It looks like a designer eye (lol). One could not have picked a more beautiful eye to go with its striking plumage. Exceptional Mike! Sounds like a fabulous trip!
