This pretty little guy gave me a lot of trouble as he is small and very fast.

Everything about this shot is great.Nice neutral, background,great lighting,sharp as a tack and a magnificent bird to cap it all off,Neil.
 
A splendid shot of this kingfisher . Outstanding detail and superb colours, especially those of the bill and the head.
 
Thanks guys. The only way to get close enough to this little fellow was to drift the boat slowly towards him. I could never get the right side of the light of course as they want it behind them.
