Male House Sparrow (Passer domesticus)

I seem to have neglected sparrows of late!

One July morning when I was feeding the birds, I noticed some movement in a little shrub beside a shed.

Had to lean out the window a bit to get the angle for this shot. Discovered there were a few House Sparrows flitting about in there.

Goldfinch and Bullfinch made a brief appearance this morning. Hardly ever see them!!!

Excellent capture and picture of this handsome male D. I hope you did not have to lean out too far (lol). It sounds as if you are beginning to attract quite a few birds. TFS!!!!!
