Male Linnet
We had a wonderful birding holiday down south in Skne. The weather was mostly good and we saw a lot of birds.Somewhere between 106 and 110 species on all(they're not all identified)- The target was 100.
Some rarities among them though they tended not to be the ones I got decent pictures of. :-)

Linnets are common enough birds but I have struggled to get good pictures. This is my best picture of a male so far.

LOL I seem to have the same problem with Linnets Graham.

That's an excellent picture you've got of this guy lad. I'm glad you had a grand time and saw so many species too.

A wonderfully posed and composed study of this handsome linnet, Graham.
