Male Northern Cardinal Under the Maple Tree
Thinking thoughts, and/or looking for yummy bits! :)
This photo was taken in my backyard on November 1st, 2019.
Habitat
eastern and central regions of America year round, due to the fact that they do not migrate. They tend to inhabit woodland edges and grassland landscapes with thickets and shrubbery they can hide and nest in, as well as my backyard

Sorry for the slightly blurriness of this photo. It was taken through the glass of my kitchen patio doors, and the glass is slightly old. Also, it could bee beecause it was difficult to zoom from where I was standing. My hands were shaking quite a bit. :)

From the looks of this male, if he had hands, they would be shaking as well. ;) Looking might cold all fluffed up like that and nicely captured Ingrid!
