Aren't his colours stunning!

It was a shame that I couldn't get a picture of the male away from the feeders... but you take what you're given!! Well at least I do!

Lovely detailed close up Delia, many tfs and I can not get close up shots of these.

I'd take a view and a close-up shot like that all day long Delia! A wonderful capture, many tfs!
Re the Grey-headed Woodpecker shot I suppose I must have manual focus as well but always have it on spot focus (I think!)
