This beautiful Manadarin Duck was at my local park yesterday. He was alone and no sign of a female. He was resplendent in all his finery. A First for me.

They're a stunning duck, aren't they. No wonder they're so popular in collections. I suppose his lady friend is concealed on a nest somewhere.
