Many-banded Aracari (Pteroglossus pluricinctus) Sexes similar. Canopy tower platform in the Napo River floodplain. Tree canopy from a platform that was 36 m 118 ft) above the ground in a Kapok tree (Ceiba pentandra: Malvaceae). The top of the tree was actually another 12-15 m (39-49 ft) above the platform. Napo Wildlife Center, Yasuni National Park, Orellna Province, Ecuador. Napo River floodplain, Ecuadorian amazonian rainforest at ca. 200 m (656 ft) elevation.
