Not as colourful as the male which is perhaps why I did not see as many, although they must have been around. Boys do need girls, after all ....

.... yeah... guys are useless without girls to help them out, aren't they;)

She's really rather pretty, isn't she. It seems ages since I last saw a picture of this bird and can't remember seeing a female before.
