Marsh Harrier
That May day at Kinnordy was brilliant. We had good views of this male Marsh Harrier, hunting the reed beds on the far side of the loch .... and then.... more to follow tomorrow....

Super bird to capture as they are always on the far side of the lake. Lol. Well done Delia I await the next episode.

We saw Marsh Harriers every which way in Romania ... and I didn't capture a single one |:S|

Fantastic bird with fabulous composition and setting. Always a treat to get to see and photograph raptors. Superb D!!!!
 
A great opportunity, Delia, and hard to get against the trees! Look forward to seeing more.
 
I always love seeing these raptors with terra firma, giving it a sense of place. You did well, Delia, and its very difficult to focus on the bird with that king of backdrop.
