Great timing in capturing it as it lands on the twig. Great focusing on the eye too. A superb image of a marsh harrier, Don.
 
Sorry, I didn't realize straight away it was carrying a twig and not landing on it. That makes the image even more special.

Hummmmph!!! I was hoping to see one on Saturday, but he disappeared half an hour before I arrived and never returned!!!

What a cracking picture you've taken of this guy Don... a super flight pose that. Very well done my friend.
