Marsh Tit (Parus palustris)

Location
RSPB Leighton Moss
Date taken
06/03/08
Scientific name
Parus palustris
Equipment used
Canon 40D; Sigma 300 f4
A lovely detailed capture - mind you I'd have gone with Willow Tit instead!

Thanks both.
Ian - I am told that a Willow Tit at Leighton Moss would be a real rarity. The locals reckon Marsh Tit and I'm not going to argue!

Lol! Just as I figured I'd got a handle on them too! It does have a pale wing panel, bullneck and the line across the cheek which to me means Willow - though the bib does look small from this angle - may be worth while posting in the ID forum for other opinions - might be a rarity for Leighton Moss but more likely me got it wrong again ;)
