Well spotted and captured, Delia! I don't see them very often either.
There were a few Red Squirrels at the hide at the David Marshall lodge. The other visitors to the hide had hidden nuts and seed in logs to attract them and that worked a treat. We had a great morning there despite the drizzle. It seemed a bit odd to travel to Scotland to see birds and animals that visit our balcony but interesting to realize that common species in one country are less common in another.
