The young Great Spotted Woodpecker was a bit more independent now and finding his own way around the feeding station.
BTW yesterday I was observing after filling the feeders and a female came to the nuts, later a male came, shortly after a third arrived and caused chaos with all three flying off! Not seen three adults there before. After it had settled down again, a squirrel came, think this is the usual one, as he went straight to the peanut butter tree. Five minutes later another one came and went straight to the nuts, so had two of them for the first time.
Sorry, forgot I'd not posted this last night. I'd prepared the picture, but got side-tracked by a long, complicated phone call from the Dept of Work and Pensions in the late afternoon. I've been waiting for them to phone me for 4 months!
