Meadow pipit

Meadow pipit (Anthus pratensis)

Lots of pipits foraging among the seaweed on the beach. Sometimes , one of them perched on the low stone wall at the top of the beach. The colour of the backdrop comes from the reddish seaweed piled up high and thick on the pale sand.Taken from my car.

A beautifully, detailed closeup of this Pipit Joelle! So nicely captured girl.

I've never seen red seaweed. Gonna have to do some investigating ;)

Outstanding capture from the car! That background coloring just sets the bird up so beautifully.
