One more of the Gadwall

One more of the Gadwall (Mareca strepera)

And finally for today, one more of the male Gadwall.

I likely won't be on line much for a few days now. I'll be flying to France later today, setting off on a group birding trip. We'll likely be out birding all day every day until we fly back on Monday, at which point I'll be resting up at an airport hotel until I fly home on Tuesday. After that I'll be self-quarantining for a few days until I get a pcr test scheduled, taken, and hopefully a negative result. Anyhooo ... I should have time to catch up the rest of that week.

What an exciting life you lead Ann LOL. Full on you aren't you.

That's another wonderful picture you've taken of this Gadwall and again beautiful reflected colours. Thanks my friend.

Enjoy your birding trip.

Absolutely beautiful and eye catching backdrop, Ann.

Sublime shot!
