Western Fence Lizard (I think) (Sceloporus occidentalis)

I was out birding at the Mojave Narrows Park, and I found this little guy. I know next to nothing about lizards, but a quick search of "lizards with blue belly" yielded Western Fence Lizard.

Hi Andy and a rather belated welcome to the Gallery.

You've a really lovely picture of this lizard, sorry though I can't help with a correct ID... I'm always excited enough to see one, never think to look for any identifying features.

BTW, the reason your thumbnail didn't display a proper image of the lizard was due to the file size you uploaded your picture at. So I've re-sized the thumbnail so it now has an image. It is easy for you to do yourself whenever it happens. Just save a re-sized copu (at something less than 2000px to be on the safe side) of your picture to your desktop. Then click on the three dot drop down menu on the RHS underneath your picture. Select "Change Thumbnail". Then click on the lower option and search for your image. Double click and it should be done.

Have a go with your penguin picture, it's not really difficult, but if you need more help let me know. It doesn't affect the actual image in the Gallery, just the software is able to produce a thumbnail.
