Memories of a stonechat (Saxicola torquata)

I was thinking of going out birding this morning but it's pouring down with beating rain and very windy. So I can't help remembering this time last year when I took lots of photos of local birds, especially that stonechat which perched on a rock very close to my car and stayed there for a long time.

A beauty of a close up and detail in a lovely setting Joelle, many tfs and the weather is also very stormy in the UK.

A stunning closeup of this little beaut, JM ... superb work ... tfs ...

It is a fabulous shot Joelle, lovely detail. She looks a little wistful, perhaps she is missing the photo opportunities. It is sunny here today, just for once but there is a gale blowing.

That's such a lovely picture you've taken of this sweet little Stonechat Joelle.

You're lucky it's raining.... like Kim it's, blowing a gale here and snowing too. Wind and snow = blizzard!! And it's cold!!

Trust things are back to normal now lassie.
