This Merganser was enjoying my dock on June 5th, 2018. I've mentioned beefore my cottage is in Orillia, Ontario, Canada on Shannon Bay, off of Lake Simcoe.

How lovely to live right on the water, Ingrid. A very good portrait of this handsome merganser.
 
Thank you Kits. We just go in spring, summer, and fall! It is fun to just sit there and let the birds come to you. lol I'm a bit lazy! :)

Unusual to see these up on a dock! She seems to be sniffing the wind ... maybe checking where the fish are out there?
