Mexican Bluewing Butterfly
Mexican Bluewing Butterfly (Myscelia ethusa: Nymphalidae). Wingspan 6.4-7.6 cm (2.5-3.0 in) with an Eastern Bordered Plant Bug (Largus succintus: Largidae) 11-13 mm (0.43-0.51 in) long.
Habitat
South Texas Plains vegetation area, mesquite dominated Tamaulipan thornscrub, at 13 m (43 ft) elevation.
Location
Resaca de la Palma State Park, Brownsville, Cameron County, Texas, USA.
